About Us
Launched in 2008, with a small team of hair stylists, New Waves has grown to become one of Uckfields favourite Hair & Beauty Salons. A recent move to a smaller more cossier premises, we have re-branded ourselves with a fresh new look but with the same famillier faces, and still offer the great professional and friendly service New Waves is known to have. Despite the smaller premises which is now on 2 floors, we have a Beauty Room, and 2 more cutting stations in the front room upstairs. This can also be booked for private bridal parties. We will be continuing to offer more services over the coming months and always strive to be the best at what we do.

Eyebrow Threading
Threading is a more precise and accurate way of hair removal. allowing you to pluck the hair at the follicle level removing short lines of hair, unlike tweezing where just single hairs are pulled out one at a time,Threading opposed to eyebrow waxing provides more precise control in shaping the eyebrows and is more gentle and less abrasive on the skin. you can thread all facial areas. If performed routinely, threading can lead to permanent results. Frequent threading can damage the hair follicles, preventing them from growing back.
